This 1964 Harley-Davidson FLH was initially restored to show condition by Don Whalen & Tom Rodan in 2001. It was at a cost of $28,000. It has since had a complete blueprinted and balanced completed by Highway Choppers/classics in Glendale, AZ. The engine was rebuilt 6000 miles ago to factory specifications at a cost of $10,000. No expense was spared. The bike is currently sitting with about 9000 miles in total. The oil and filter are always changed every 1000 miles with Aeroshell oil. This bike was featured in VQ magazine in the early 2000's and won numerous awards at shows over the years.

The engine has matching belly numbers and original 4 speed transmission. It has the original Linkert carburetor and dual point breaker assembly. The engine has a new primary and new drive chain. New Cycle Electric 6 volt generator and new 6 volt battery. New rear master cylinder and brake shoes. The bike is equipped with original Guide lighting. The bike has original tins that were repainted in 2001 with original Aristocrat fender bumpers. The paint shows very well with just a few chips. The bike is also equipped with an optional 6 volt cigarette lighter( not connected) and factory steering damper. The older original chrome shows some patina. The newer chrome is original parts that were plated. There are only a few repop parts on the bike. The speedometer was replaced with a repop version of the original model. The ignition switch is original but has no keys. The engine cases were originally polished when the bike was restored in 2001. Highway Classic media blasted & "texturized" them when the engine was rebuilt to try to bring the back to more of a stock look.

This is a great everyday rider and always starts with 2 prime kicks.

Don't miss out on this beautifully restored machine. As the receipts prove: you cannot build this bike for the money!

This bike is located in Arizona.
